Dean Wells has been with United Way for four years. Dean had previous experience with United Way through his work at St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation, and decided to join the team because it seemed like a good opportunity to make positive changes in the community. Dean's vision joining UWYC was to assist in collecting information that United Way could future utilize for community improvement.
Dean's role at United Way entails managing Impact programs, overseeing Impact staff, managing data and grants, and overseeing fund distribution to local partner agencies.
Dean went to college at MSU Bozeman and moved back to Billings in 2008 after working with non-profits in Spokane, Washington for 13 years. Dean has a brother in Oregon and a sister in Billings. He is proud of that he has restored his grandfather's 1978 Ford F150 after 3 years of hard work.
