Disasters happen, ready or not. Together we can help Yellowstone County be prepared.
Connect and communicate.
At the local level, United Way of Yellowstone County is an active member of the LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) and its Volunteer Center has the responsibility of coordinating Yellowstone County spontaneous volunteers during disaster response and recovery. UWYC also participates as a member of Montana VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster). VOAD is an entity comprised of organizations that work together during disaster response and recovery to engage in continual communications to ensure efforts are coordinated and delivered where needed.
