2019 RAK Heroes

A random act of kindness (RAK) is defined as a selfless act performed by kind people to either help or cheer up a random stranger, for no reason other than to make people happier. February 18-22 is set aside as Random Acts of Kindness week, a 5 day period where we celebrate the kindness of others.

This year, we asked you to nominate people in our community who are your RAK Heroes. We know our community is filled with exceptionally kind and selfless people and we wanted to shine a little light on them. We are hoping in years to follow this very prestious award will grow! For now, please take a moment to congratulate the 3 RAK Heroes we highlighted during RAK Week 2019.

If you have had the pleasure of meeting Adam Gross, you know exactly why he is a hero in our community. Congrats Adam!

We have been lucky here at UWYC to have worked with Lisa Perry in a variety of ways for several years. She is truly awesome and gives back in so many ways!
